FedEx Freight's US LTL guide asks for length, width, height and shipment weight, including the pallet or other packaging. Suggested practice: collect the packaged load details rather than product-only dimensions so a classification estimate reflects what the carrier will actually handle.
FedEx Freight bases LTL classification on density, liability, handling and stowability. Its guide says lower classes generally cost less, not that density alone decides acceptance or price. Suggested practice: qualify the commodity and handling needs before using a density-led quote claim.
FedEx Freight's US guide says a pallet containing items with different classes defaults to the highest class among them. Suggested practice: ask whether a load mixes commodities before estimating class; an average of item classes would not follow this provider's stated rule.
FedEx Freight describes its calculator output as estimated; actual class depends on the commodity's demonstrated transportation characteristics. Label creation and pickup scheduling are separate next steps. Suggested practice: distinguish classification inquiry, quoted shipment, scheduled pickup and delivered freight in reporting.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
