OpenSea's gas article, dated 27 July 2026, says wallet connection is gas-free and identifies purchases and other actions that require gas. Suggested measurement: keep connection separate from transaction confirmation; the access step alone does not establish a purchase.
OpenSea's July 2026 gas guide says a first listing from a collection can require a one-time collection approval, while subsequent listings from that collection do not. First use of a currency can also require approval. A listing-fee claim must preserve these initial authorization conditions.
OpenSea's July 2026 guide says gas compensates network validators, is outside OpenSea's control and is not refundable. Payment for processing does not guarantee transaction success. Suggested measurement: distinguish a submitted transaction from success rather than presenting gas payment as purchase completion.
OpenSea's 12 August 2026 article describes account verification and collection badges as identity signals, not endorsement or recommendation. Criteria can change, a badge does not guarantee any specific requirements, and previously issued badges may remain without re-review. Meeting minimum criteria also does not guarantee a badge. Treat it as platform identity context rather than financial merit or current eligibility certification.

Benchmark status reviewed 11 October 2026.
The exact category cohort does not support a publishable AOV aggregate.
Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
