Plaid says Sandbox uses test data and does not fully reproduce production behavior. Institution-specific quirks, some image processing and certain consent-checkbox enforcement differ. Suggested measurement: treat Sandbox completion as a developer evaluation stage, separate from production readiness.
Plaid documents free Trial plans for new teams created on or after 15 April 2026 in the US and Canada. Trial uses real production data, and production access tokens count against its Item limit. This offer has team-date, geography and usage boundaries.
For Plaid Assets, Link authentication includes consent to access balances, account-holder information and transaction history. Revocation produces a webhook. Plaid also says most new customers should use Consumer Report instead of Assets. Suggested measurement: record the actual product and consent stage, not a generic bank connection.
Plaid says Asset Reports are not created instantly: a PRODUCT_READY webhook marks readiness. With Fast Assets, a limited balance-and-identity report precedes the complete report, with separate notifications. Suggested measurement: distinguish linking, initial report readiness and full-report readiness within this documented product.

Benchmark status reviewed 11 October 2026.
The exact category cohort does not support a publishable AOV aggregate.
Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
