Bïrch vs Skai: Rules and Alerts or Enterprise Omnichannel Media and AI

Bïrch fits media buyers who want to write and control every automation rule themselves. Skai fits large advertisers that run search, social and retail media across many channels on yearly budgets.

Our recommendation
Bïrch for rules you write yourself, Skai for enterprise omnichannel media

Choose Bïrch if you want to write every condition yourself and launch many ads at once. Choose Skai if you run large budgets across search, social and retail media and want one platform with an AI assistant and a dedicated success team. If you also need campaigns built from a chat, Madgicx does that, from $45 a month.

Where they differ

How the price grows

Bïrch: The price follows your monthly ad spend across all connected platforms, and its pricing page says going over a plan's limit adds a fee. Annual billing gives one month free. Skai: The yearly price steps up with the media you manage, from up to $4M to over $35M a year, with more features at each step.

Who each is built for

Bïrch: Experienced media buyers and agencies who prefer to set every condition themselves and run ads on several platforms. Skai: Skai is built for large advertisers and agencies managing paid search, paid social and retail media. Its pricing page sends smaller budgets to reseller partners.

How each one works

Bïrch: You build rules, and once published they act on their own whenever their conditions are met. The AI drafts rules for you to review, and its chat asks for approval before each action by default. Skai: One platform plans, activates, optimizes and measures media across channels, with Celeste AI recommending actions. Teams can also build their own agent workflows in Skai Studio.

What reviewers say

Our verdict

Choose Bïrch if

  • You can launch many ads at once from Google Drive or Sheets instead of building each one by hand.
  • You can run the same rules across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Snapchat from one account.
  • You get white-label reports on a schedule and alerts in Slack and email.

Choose Skai if

  • You get dedicated client success support in every plan.
  • You get a published yearly price for each spend band.
  • You get search, social and retail media in one platform across 300+ channels.

Neither fits when

You need rules and AI actions that work on your Meta ads, with every change approved by you. Bïrch's help center says its AI chat can't create campaigns, so new campaigns are built in its bulk builder. Skai's pages describe no way to create campaigns from a chat. Madgicx creates campaigns, ad sets and ads from a chat, paused until you approve. Madgicx's MCP connector lets an AI assistant work with your Meta ad account. Madgicx has ready-made and AI audiences. Seats and ad generations are unlimited in every plan, from $45 a month.

How we compare: methodology

  1. How each tool automates: rules, AI actions or both.
  2. Which ad platforms each covers and how campaigns get built.
  3. What the price buys and how it grows.
  4. What recent G2 reviewers praise and complain about.

Published by Madgicx, which competes with both tools. We use each vendor's pricing and product pages (bir.ch and skai.io) and the most recent G2 reviews we could read, with dates listed below. This is our editorial view of fit, not independent test results. Confirm any capability not listed here with the vendor. Bïrch's pricing page of 5 November 2026 states no spend limit per plan, so we show what the page says. G2 did not load on 5 November, so its rating and reviews come from 15 October 2026.
