momondo says it compares travel options and sends a visitor to the chosen provider's site, where booking is completed. Keep the handoff clear in campaign measurement. A search or outbound click is different from a confirmed purchase, and this edition does not publish an AOV benchmark for travel search engines.
Skyscanner says additional provider options such as luggage, seats or insurance can change the final ticket price. Direct visitors to the booking provider for inclusion questions. A displayed comparison price is not a paid ticket or net revenue; the explanation does not establish the price of any current itinerary.
KAYAK's help page separates search and discovery, pricing and price alerts, and booking and checkout topics. This observed support structure supports distinct journey labels, not proof that every booking happens on KAYAK. Report an alert interaction separately from a purchase; no measured downstream booking revenue or AOV is published for travel search engines in this edition.
Google Flights explains codeshares: one airline can sell a seat while another operates the aircraft, and its detailed view can identify both. An itinerary creative can make that distinction understandable without promising a particular carrier arrangement. Itinerary selection and booking completion remain separate actions; comparison content does not supply a measured AOV.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
