What is included in a basic groom?

Ask the salon to list the actual bath, coat work and optional services before booking. AKC notes that nail and ear care may be offered, but service menus vary by provider.

Why ask about coat type before getting a quote?

AKC says size, coat type and included work can change the cost and duration. A useful booking form gathers those details before presenting the provider’s own estimate.

Can the same coat routine be assumed for every dog?

No. ASPCA describes different grooming attention for different coat types. Use a service page to explain the salon’s offered coat work, then confirm the individual appointment with its groomer.

What should owners ask about the appointment environment?

Ask to see the space and discuss how the dog is housed between grooming steps. AKC explicitly raises facility conditions and waiting arrangements as questions for a prospective groomer.

The exact category cohort does not support a publishable AOV aggregate.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
