Can total professional-network followers measure newly acquired members?

LinkedIn’s audience analytics distinguishes total followers from daily new followers; its date range applies to new-follower data. Keep the existing audience stock separate from the cohort associated with an acquisition campaign.

Do profile visits establish professional-network activation?

LinkedIn separates profile visitors from search appearances and content analytics, with visitor visibility depending on settings and subscription. Use visits as an engagement signal, then define the network’s own activation event separately.

How should professional-audience demographics be interpreted?

LinkedIn reports follower demographics such as job title, industry and seniority, and describes demographic counts as estimates. Treat these as audience context rather than verified qualifications for every person reached by an ad.

Should post performance be combined with member-acquisition conversions?

LinkedIn distinguishes individual-post analytics from aggregate content performance. Keep content engagement and account activation in separate report columns so popular posts do not automatically become evidence of newly acquired active members.

Benchmark status reviewed 11 October 2026.

The exact category cohort does not support a publishable AOV aggregate.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
