In Google Analytics, an event records an interaction and a designated key event marks an important action for reporting. The selection is a business definition; it does not prove that the action produced revenue.
An attribution model changes how credit is assigned to touchpoints. Google Analytics offers model comparison for key events, so compare the model and lookback settings before treating a channel shift as new demand.
Google documents differences among standard reports, explorations, its API and BigQuery export, including retention and reporting limits. Record the surface, filters and date range when reconciling totals.
Google Analytics says some key events can be modeled where direct observation is incomplete. A reporting tool should distinguish observed and modeled methods in its documentation; modeled counts are estimates.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
