Our verdict

Choose Atria if

  • You get a library of competitor ads next to analysis of your own account.
  • You get an AI teammate, Raya, that grades ads and makes new ones from what wins.
  • You get MCP access to research ads from other AI tools.

Choose Foreplay if

  • You save ads from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn ad libraries with unlimited saves on every plan.
  • You search a large ad database and track competitors around the clock.
  • You get a lower entry price, $49 a month billed annually, and a price that does not follow ad spend.

Neither fits when

You need what happens after the creative. We saw no automation rules on Foreplay's pages. Madgicx has ready-made and custom automation rules. Madgicx creates campaigns, ad sets and ads from a chat, paused until you approve. Madgicx lists next steps for your ad account that you approve or dismiss, so every change is approved by you. Seats and ad generations are unlimited in every plan, from $45 a month.

How we compare: methodology

  1. What each tool generates, researches or analyzes: images, video, text and ad libraries.
  2. Whether the tool scores new ads, analyzes live ads or both.
  3. What the price buys: credits, generations or seats.
  4. What recent G2 reviewers praise and complain about.

Published by Madgicx, which competes with both tools. We use each vendor's pricing and product pages (tryatria.com and foreplay.co) and the most recent G2 reviews we could read, with dates listed below. This is our editorial view of fit, not independent test results. Confirm any capability not listed here with the vendor. Atria's help center and pricing page were read on 5 November 2026. Some product pages did not load, so its feature rows rest on its home page, pricing page and help center. Foreplay's pricing page disagrees with itself on Spyder brand limits, so we do not quote them.
