Define inputs, transformation steps, exceptions, reviewer roles and the accepted output. NARA's digitization quality guidance is a useful process analogy: it records roles, requirements and objectives before inspection begins.
Specify a check of output content and metadata, then record how deviations are corrected. NARA separates inspection from corrective action; a throughput count alone does not describe output quality.
Limit access to the fields and period required for the assigned workflow. The FTC specifically suggests giving vendors only needed data, which narrows the review surface for a back-office handoff.
Ask for the written data-handling rules and evidence that the provider follows them. The FTC recommends both explicit contract terms and a verification process; a generic security badge is not the underlying check.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
