Are GPS guidance and yield mapping the same tool?

USDA ERS identifies guidance, soil or yield mapping, and variable-rate application as separate precision technologies. A product page should name the actual capability rather than advertise them as one bundled feature.

Source Link to answer
What can a yield monitor show?

ERS describes combine-mounted monitors collecting location-tagged yield readings to make field maps. A demo can show mapping as a workflow, without implying the map predicts future harvests.

Source Link to answer
Why ask about implement integration?

ERS says variable-rate application uses automated controls integrated with sprayers or seeding equipment and can be crop-specific. An inquiry can qualify machinery and crop context before discussing compatibility.

Source Link to answer
What is a defensible variable-rate claim?

ERS describes adjusting input application with GPS-linked field data. Creative can explain that mechanism; the source does not establish a conversion lift or guaranteed farm return for an advertised product.

The exact category cohort does not support a publishable AOV aggregate.

Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
