AdEspresso by Hootsuite vs Markifact: Manual Ad Builder or AI Agents and Workflows

AdEspresso by Hootsuite fits agencies and small teams that build Facebook and Instagram ads by hand and want white-label PDF reports. Markifact fits marketers and agencies that want to describe tasks to an AI agent or build repeatable workflows across ad platforms and data tools.

Our recommendation
AdEspresso by Hootsuite for building Facebook and Instagram ads by hand, Markifact for agents and workflows across many tools

Choose AdEspresso by Hootsuite if you want to build every Facebook and Instagram campaign yourself with split tests and client reports. Choose Markifact if you want agents and scheduled workflows that work across Google, Meta, TikTok and your reporting tools. If you also need campaigns built from a chat, Madgicx does that, from $45 a month.

Where they differ

How the price grows

AdEspresso by Hootsuite: The price steps up by plan, not by spend: Starter covers up to $1,000 of monthly ad spend, and Plus at $99 has no spend limit. Annual prices are not shown on its pricing page. Markifact: The price steps up by plan and by the credits and seats you choose. Its annual option is labeled 2 months free, and the page shows no annual prices.

Who each is built for

AdEspresso by Hootsuite: Agencies and small teams that prefer a manual builder with split tests and client reporting. Markifact: Solo marketers, freelancers, agencies and marketing teams that want one place to automate work across ad and data tools.

How each one works

AdEspresso by Hootsuite: You build campaigns by hand and set up split tests and rules yourself. Plus and Enterprise add campaign approval so teams and clients can sign off before ads run. Markifact: You describe a task to an agent or build a multi-step workflow on a visual canvas, and run it on demand, on a schedule or from a trigger. Its pages say changes need your approval before they go live.

What reviewers say

  • You can run split tests of headlines, images and audiences, with split-test analysis in every plan.
  • You get white-label PDF reports and view-only access to send to clients.

Choose Markifact if

Neither fits when

You need rules and AI actions that work on your Meta ads, with every change approved by you. We saw no chat on AdEspresso by Hootsuite's pages, so campaigns are built by hand. Markifact's pages describe no creative analysis of its own, only a template that exports competitor ads to Google Sheets. Madgicx creates campaigns, ad sets and ads from a chat, paused until you approve. Madgicx lists next steps for your ad account that you approve or dismiss, so every change is approved by you. Madgicx analyzes which creatives and lines of copy bring results on your live ads. Seats and ad generations are unlimited in every plan, from $45 a month.

How we compare: methodology

  1. How each tool automates: rules, AI actions or both.
  2. Which ad platforms each covers and how campaigns get built.
  3. What the price buys and how it grows.
  4. What recent G2 reviewers praise and complain about.

Published by Madgicx, which competes with both tools. We use each vendor's pricing and product pages (adespresso.com and markifact.com) and the most recent G2 reviews we could read, with dates listed below. This is our editorial view of fit, not independent test results. Confirm any capability not listed here with the vendor. AdEspresso's help center did not load for us, so its rules and split testing are what its site describes. Its pricing page text runs some credit and seat options together, so we quote only the plan prices and seat ranges it states clearly.
