Pexels' license permits free photo and video use without mandatory attribution, while appreciating credit. Its page also gives product-promotion examples. Describe the free download accurately and keep its license restrictions visible; lack of an attribution requirement does not settle every proposed commercial use.
Pexels' license forbids implying endorsement by people or brands depicted in its imagery. Avoid a testimonial-style claim that presents a stock subject as a customer recommending the product. Permission to use the image does not provide that person's endorsement.
Pexels' license prohibits selling unaltered copies as prints, posters or physical products. Define the proposed end product before promoting a resale workflow. A free download does not establish permission to sell the unchanged photo, and modification alone is not a blanket clearance of other rights.
Pexels' license prohibits using its photos or videos as part of a trademark, business name or service mark. A platform offer must distinguish campaign imagery from brand identity assets. Download availability does not make the image suitable for a registrable logo.

Research scope
Benchmark status reviewed 11 October 2026.
The exact category cohort does not support a publishable AOV aggregate.
Median and middle 50% of account-level average order values. Each account value is purchase ROAS multiplied by cost per purchase in USD. Successful classifications, including manual corrections, with positive finite spend, purchases, ROAS and cost per purchase. Accounts are counted once with equal weight. Quartiles use linear interpolation. Root cohorts include direct root classifications and their child categories; exact-child cohorts exclude parent and sibling categories. The source selects the highest-spend coverage row per account among snapshots dated within the preceding 30 days; the underlying reporting period is not supplied. This is a dated aggregate advertising-data snapshot, not business-wide AOV or a census. Parent and sibling benchmarks are never substituted.
