Talent Acquisition Specialist

Are you a people person? Are you fascinated by the idea of working in a global, hyper-growing startup? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to help madgicx go from 80 to 400 magicians in 1-year.

We like to dream big and start small. That’s why our goal is to create a recruitment organization that is so strong that we could potentially even help other companies acquire talent. As part of this role, you will take a key part in building a robust recruitment machine using growth hacking and unconventional recruiting methods.

We want an A-Player, committed to working for our company full-time (40+ hours per week) for the long run. As one of the first members of the team, you will be able to grow within the role and the company.  As part of this role you will be:

  • Sourcing for candidates according to demand on platforms such as Linkedin, Facebook, or any other platform
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by posting ads and managing the hiring process by managing the hiring boards in our management tool.
  • Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization
  • Meet with Human Resources to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and available positions within the company
  • Execute interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments interviews
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements

What you will bring to the table

  • You’ll need to have a lot of empathy and a natural ability for understanding and studying people.
  • A minimum experience of 13 months in a similar role is required.
  • Strong Sales & persuasion skills (along with great energy!) will be important for this role.
  • A high standard of written and spoken English is required to communicate with candidates, managers and generally progress within the role.
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations (e.g. IT and R&D positions)
