What you will be doing

The Customer Success Manager (CSM) is responsible for achieving client retention goals, while also acting as a strategic leader accountable for driving successful client outcomes. The CSM will onboard new clients post-sales, delivering training experiences that establish best practices for advertising success with Madgicx. The CSM is expected to develop long-lasting customer relationships that cultivate business results. Our customers will count on the CSM to be their named representative. Thus, the CSM will develop their own portfolio of clientele. The ideal CSM has a relentless growth mindset, an insatiable appetite to learn, a deep capacity to care about people, a track record of success in sales or success, confidence in speaking to C-Suites, and performance marketing background, preferably within Facebook ads and/or Mar-tech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship with Madgicx, leading them to greater levels of success.
  • Provide consultations and training on the Madgicx platform over Zoom.
  • Take extensive notes and keep track of them in the customer record in our CRM.
  • Conduct performance reviews on a regular cadence with clients to evaluate what’s working, what’s not working, and where there is opportunity for gains.
  • Collect feedback from clients, and champion their voice to the rest of the Madgicx team.
  • Expand revenue through upsell opportunities where relevant to a client’s needs – in addition to the Madgicx platform, we also offer consulting and agency services, creative production via Sparkle, and attribution solutions via MCT.
  • Answer churn alerts to rescue clients who need a helping hand through grave challenges.
  • Conduct exit interviews with clients who have decided not to renew their agreements.

Stay on top of the most recent best practices in the world of performance marketing, Facebook ads, and eCom.

What you will bring to the table

  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a CSM, or similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry
  • An intuitive understanding of how to relate with people
  • Experience with online ads, especially FB ads
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Track record of cultivating meaningful long term professional relationships
  • Capable to manage a portfolio of clientele that will grow in sophistication 
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Consistently on time with remote meetings
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Knowledge in G-Suite
  • Comfortable with working 100% remotely
  • Empathy
  • Patience
  • Teachable
  • Familiarity with the Madgicx platform is an advantage 
  • Experience with HubSpot is an advantage
